What is a vase? How does it work?

Those were simple questions I asked myself about this historical object which was created in the Neolithic period. I found that all vases in the world have the same basic function that is to hold flowers. There are two important parts which function differently. The vase mouth holds a flower stem, while the base part holds water and gives stability.

“Weight” brings a new perspective to a vase design by the separation of two different parts that support each other.

Water container made of concrete is placed on a steel piece to give stability for holding flowers. In this collection, there are four vases for different flower arrangements, from a single flower to a flower panel.
