A seating unit made from synthetic fiber woven by traditional Thai basketry techniques. The translucent weaving pattern of this outdoor lounger looks absolutely charming on the contemporary steel structure. This collection was developed by Thai designer duo, Decha Archjananun and Ploypan Theerachai of THINKK, and presented in designboom’s ‘asia now’ exhibition at Dwell on Design in Los Angeles. It is produced by Thai furniture manufacturer PLATO and has been available in the US since 2010.
