CENTRAL CHAENGWATTANA

2025

CWN
Typographic Sculpture

CWN stands for Chaeng Wattana. The word “Chaeng” signifies clarity, brightness, and transparency, brought to life through light as a central element that elevates the artwork. “Wattana” represents growth and prosperity, expressed through modern lettering and a blend of diverse mediums. Furthermore, the artwork innovatively repurposes waste—including plastic scraps, water bottles, and eggshells—into its material blend, inspiring positive change for both society and the environment.

Hello Bear: A Hug of Welcome and Nature
อ้อมกอดแห่งการต้อนรับและธรรมชาติ

This little bear opens its arms to warmly welcome everyone, with a bee-shaped bag symbolizing harmony with nature. The bear represents the environment that needs our care. The bee stands for a fragile ecosystem. Hello Bear is more than just a greeting—it’s a gentle call to take responsibility for our planet once again.

Bear Family: A Home Full of Meaning
บ้านที่เต็มไปด้วยความหมาย

Like stacked vessels—layered with warmth, support, and care. This collection symbolizes a “home” where each member is a unique layer of love. The little bears represent children, grandchildren, or cherished memories—nestled within the strong structure of family. Even the simplest cups and bowls, when brought together with love, become a joyful and comforting home.

Gift Climber: The Bear on a Rope of Joy
หมีปีนเชือกแห่งความสุข

This little bear is climbing what looks like a playful rope—but it’s truly a “pathway to happiness.” The rope is woven with memories, warmth, and friendship—like a gift ribbon wrapped gently around the heart on a special day.

Flying Bear: A Dreaming Traveler in the City
หมีนักเดินทางในเมืองที่ไม่หยุดฝัน

This little bear on a glider represents the simple joys, childhood dreams and rare moments of pause amidst the city’s hustle—gently drifting through a sky filled with imagination and happiness.

Bee Kite: Be Kind

Inspired by kites and bees—two delicate forms that rely on nature’s forces to stay aloft. Bee Kite raises awareness about Colony Collapse Disorder, a global phenomenon causing the rapid decline of bee populations. This piece invites us not only to look up at the sky, but also to reflect on the fragile balance of nature—and our small role in letting life keep floating, gently. Because every time a kite flies high, it carries a quiet hope that the world can be just a little lighter—and a little kinder.
